I’m 8 year old chocolate Lab, which makes me a senior dog. Kodiak Animal Shelter tells me that makes it hard to find a forever home. Don’t let my age fool you! I love to go on walks! And a walk would probably be a good thing for me. I’m a full-figured lady. I need some help to get my girlish figure back!

Why is a beauty like me homeless? I wonder the same thing myself. My parents surrendered me because they were moving. They offered me to the dog sitter, but she couldn’t take me. I have to ask, if people are taking their furniture and the kids, why can’t they take me?

The truth is, I’d do best in a home with older kids. I’d also do well with another dog, as long as he or she is mellow like me. I’m already spayed and up to date on my vaccinations, and ready for my new loving forever home!
