Camden-Rockport Animal Rescue League

The Camden-Rockport Animal Rescue League is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter located in Rockport, Maine. Established in 1974 we currently contract with 7 towns in the midcoast area and have space to shelter up to 7 dogs and 80 +/- cats. All of our animals are spayed or neutered before they are adopted out, as well as vaccinated against rabies, bordetella and distemper, treated for fleas and ticks, and tested for feline aids, feline leukemia, heartworms. We have 5 full time employees and 5 part time employees. Approximately 70% of our annual operating budget of $300,000+ is dependent upon donations.
